Peas Pulao

Ingredients:
Basmathi rice-1cup
Shelled peas-1cup
cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
onion (medium)-1 nos
oil- 3 tbsp
salt-to taste

Recipe:

Pick,wash and soak rice for twenty minute. Cut onion lengthwise.  Heat oil in a pan,add cumin seeds and when it starts to cracke add onions. Fry till transulent. Add peas, saute for 2-3 minutes. Drain soaked rice and add. Pour two cups of water and salt. Bring it to boil. Reduce the heat, cover with lid,cook till water is absorbed.
Serve hot.
