Okra Sabji

Ingredients:( To serve -- 4)

1. Okra (Lady's Finger) -- 1 1/2  lb
2. Onion -- 1 (big) cut into thin stripes
3. Cayenne Pepper (Red Chilli Powder) - 1/2 tsp.
4. Turmeric Powder -- 1/4 tsp.
5. Coriander seed powder (Dhania) -- 1 1/2 tsp.
6. Salt to taste
7. Garam Masala  and  Aamchur-- 1/2 tsp
8. Tomatoes -- 1 (cut into thin stripes) (optional)
Method:

1. Heat little oil in a pan and add onions to it. Fry until the onions become brown. Add tomatoes , if using and fry for a minute.

2. Now, add the okra and cook upto 10 minutes(approx.). Stir in between.

3. When it is almost cooked, add all the masala powders and cook for a minute.

4. Serve with chapathi or paratha.

Note: Okra tends to stick to the pan. Add oil if necessary.
