Rice Adai

Ingredients: Raw rice 1 cup
Thoor dhal 1 tbspn
urad dhal 1 tbspn
Bengal gram
dhal 1 tbspn
mustard 1 tspn
methi seeds 1 tspn
salt to taste
buttermilk optional
oil 1 cup
Recipe: Grind the rice and dhal together in the mixie coarsely.
Soak the mixture in water with salt overnight or
for 4 hrs.
Add spluttered mustard,chillies and grated
coconut and mix to a smooth dough.
Add buttermilk and mix well.
In a non-stick tawa spread the above batter
evenly with little oil and turn to
the other side.
Goes well with pickles or chutneys.
