Gojjuavalaki(rice flakes
upma)
Ingredients:
Rice Flakes
Tamarind Pulp
Channa dhal, Urad Dhal, Hing,
Curry Leaves
Rasam Powder, Salt, Sugar
Method:
Powder thick rice flakes and set aside. Make thick
tamarind
pulp. Heat oil and saute it with channadhal,uraddhal,hing,curry leaves
and fry the rice flakes mixture for a while while adding about 2 tsps
of rasam powder and after a while add tamarind pulp and a add salt to
your taste and little sugar and mix well with adding little water. Let
it cook for a while and this dish resembles upma but red in color.
