Hot Peppers

Ingredients:( To serve -- 4)

1. Banana Hot Peppers -- 8
2. Besan (Gram flour) -- 1 1/4th cup
3. Red Chilli Powder (Cayenne Powder) -- 1/2 tsp.
4. Coriander Seed Powder (Dhania) -- 1 1/2 tsp.
5. Jeera Powder (Cummin Powder) -- 1 1/2 tsp.
6. Turmeric Powder -- 1/2 tsp (Optional)
7. Om Seeds (Ajwain) and salt -- 1/2 tsp
8. Sesame seeds -- 1/2 tsp (optional)
9. Oil -- 1/4th cup


1. Slit the peppers and remove the seeds if you desire.

2. Mix all of the other ingredients (2 to 9). It should be a thick paste (You may add more oil or a little water).

3. Heat a skillet. Add some oil and carefully place the peppers on the skillet. Spray
some oil on top of the peppers. Sprinkle some water and cover. Allow it to cook on medium heat for 5 minutes.

4. When the bottom turns brown, change sides and let the other part turn brown. Sprinkle water whenever necessary.

5.  When you feel the peppers have cooked. Remove from heat.

Note: Be careful when you place the peppers on the skillet. The oil might splutter.
